Hey all,
At first I thought I'd give you guys the races and the compendium classes to start play testing, but now I've dug deeper into it, Ive expanded the scope of the packet I'm putting together. The classes are done, the races are halfway there. When I finish there will be a fast edit. I know I had said that it would be done by no later than the second weekend in February, but, I may not make that deadline. I want to get it to a certain point before I send it out, I hope you understand. My goal is to get it to you as soon as I can. I'm working on it every day and it's coming together nicely. As soon as I get closer, I'll update everyone.

I got the cover artwork for the Quest of Rothaen today and I wanted to share it with you.

Victoire Republic
During the Athix Civil War, the islands of the Athalos Keys were the first to declare their independence from the empire and seized all Athix ships docked at the islands. Koser and Helliean followed suit shortly after, taking two thirds of the Athix Navy and creating the pirate nations which now control many of the merchant trading lanes across the oceans.
The Athalos Keys untied under the name the Victoire Republic, a grandiose title that belies the true nature of their government. Victorie relies on the slaves and the slave trade for their economy as well as being a safe haven for those on the run from justice. Those who thought they were striking a blow to the Empire and would finally be free, have found that they have been pushed to the side, or enslaved themselves.
Like their sister nations, profit is Victorie Republic's driving concern. They see Kosar and Helliean as competitors that will need to be dealt with in order to maximize their growth. Small sea battles have already happened, and it's just a matter of time before a full scale war breaks out. A pirate war might give Carthic and the Athix Empire the opportunity to regain control of the seas, but no one will will make it though unharmed, as there will be many innocent lives lost in such a conflict.

Numenera Collection
I've been planning the Numenera Collection for a while and now, it is live. Even if you don't play Numenera, you can use these tracks for a fantasy game. These tracks have no effect of Rothaen seeing that I do audio in the morning and write at night. Yes, I work 14 hours a day, it's called being a workaholic. :-)
Things are going well. As soon as the character compediums are edited, I'll be sending them out to you. Hopefully in a week or two. You will also be getting on of the kingdoms to play with. I'm writing daily, and having a great time. I look forward to sharing it with you and see what your Rothaen becomes.

2017!
I hope all of you have had a great holiday season. Now that the crazy time has past it's time to get into the drove again of real life. This month I will be working on getting the the character classes ready for you to take a look at and play. Anyone getting the Rothaen core book will get these packs at the end of January. You'll be given a chance to submit feedback through April. The Quest of Rothaen is also coming together, I'm hoping to have it out by June, if not sooner. You will be able to really jump into the world with it. It's all very exciting, so thank you again for backing.

I've put together a bunch of audio bundles from the last 4 years. The cool thing is that it will deduct the price of any tracks you already have from the bundles. Take a look!

I have finished sending out the audio download coupons from DrivethruRPG. Make sure you check your filter if you have not gotten any emails and are expecting audio. Remember, this is only for the audio portion of the Kickstarter. If you are missing any audio, please send an email to info@platemailgames and I will get you your tracks.
