On the northern tip of Iron is a prison for the worst beings of Rothaen. They have been banished here by great magic. Others emerge from the canyon - a portal to hell that oozes demons and the undead. The only thing keeping these creatures from pouring out into the mortal realm is the Wall of the Gods which encompasses the entire area. The holy nation of Acum are the jailers, and it's their job to make sure the gods are pleased and the wall's power never falters. But even under their ever-watchful eyes, things get out, and those things corrupt everything they touch. Acum is always looking for brave (or foolhardy) adventurers to help keep the prisoners in.
Things are going well, over half the audio is done and writing is moving forward. For those of you in the U.S. have a great Turkey day.

I really want you to be able to start playing Rothaen as soon as possible. Here is what I'm going to do. Starting at the end of January, after the holiday madness, any backer who is getting the Rothaen Core book and the Map Pack will get access to parts of the PDF and maps through Dropbox. As time moves on, I'll add more lands and features. This is an early play version that you can dig into right away. You can give me feedback if you like. It will not have art, and I ask that you not review Rothaen until the final version is out. Being early access also means that it can and will change.

Just wanted to give you a quick update. I'm waiting for the transfer from Kickstarter to send out the Backerkit surveys. Work has already begun and I'm having a lot of fun with both the writing and audio. I'm 10 tracks in audio wise.

We have funded and brought Rothaen to life. Monday I'll start the my new schedule, audio in the morning writing and cartography in the afternoon. As always, I'll be posting updates as the project progresses.
What about the 50 extra pages for the Monster Tome
We did not hit the 250 people needed to unlock the 50 pages for the Monster Tome BUT, we are using backer kit and if we reach 250 through them, I'll unlock those pages. I'll be posting the Backerkit page for pre-orders in a week or so.
